the yeresko room

Yan Yeresko came from Belarus to Hungary to study at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts. Yan was introduced to the founders by Moldovan painter Alexander Tinei. Yeresko created the series displayed in the room at his former atelier at The Studios and nowadays spends his time between Minsk and Budapest. The Belorussian painter mixes classical oil painting with spray painting and photographs, depicting realistic figures on semi-abstract backgrounds.
