Join us for a screening of An Taibhse (The Ghost), the first feature-length horror film made entirely in the Irish language, followed by a live conversation and Q&A with the filmmakers.
Written and directed by John Farrelly and executive produced by six-time Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan, this award-winning film takes audiences into the haunting landscape of post-Famine Ireland.
Set in 1850, a father and daughter take on the role of caretakers at a remote mansion, where they are to spend the winter. But as the days grow colder and unsettling occurrences begin to unfold, their isolated refuge turns into something far more sinister. With its haunting atmosphere, striking cinematography and powerful performances, An Taibhse offers a chilling journey into the unknown.
